APF made the best comeback in Nepali women's domestic football so far and scheduled the final trip of ANFA Women's League on Saturday. APF defeated Army 2-1 in Qualifier-1 at ANFA complex in Satdobato. Forward Rashmikumari Ghising was the heroine of this victory.
After the defeat, Army will now play Qualifier-Two in which they will face Police. Army took the lead in the eighth minute in an exciting game. APF goalkeeper Savitri Kisan could not control the ball well, Hima Chaudhary easily pointed the direction of the post. This goal was made possible by Kisan's mistake.
This lead was maintained by the Army for 78 minutes and seemed to be heading towards victory. But Rashmi scored two goals within 10 minutes and gave her team a sensational victory. She scored the first goal in the 78th minute and tied the game, then added the second goal in the 88th minute to give APF a sensational victory.
