Sankata Club has scheduled a trip to the semi-finals of the President's Cup National Football Tournament on Thursday. For this, Sankat defeated the league champions Church Boys 3-0 in a match at Dasharath Stadium.

Abek Richard scored two goals and Chandan Das scored one goal for Sankata. 

Richard added the second goal in the 70th minute after scoring the first goal in the 21st minute. He easily scored the first goal from Church Boys' box. He used a cross pass for his second individual goal. Chandan scored the third goal in the 73rd minute. The opposing goalkeeper was more to blame for this goal.

Now in the semi-finals, Sankata will compete with the winner of the match between Machindra and APF. The winner of the contest with the highest prize money will win a prize of 2.6 million.
