Nepal's professional Gharna Kedia Group is running the men's volleyball franchise Nepal Volleyball League. Supporters are excited for the franchise league of Nepal's national sports volleyball.
Kedia Group has given the slogan 'A new flight of heights' to the league. Like the slogan, preparations have been started with the goal of giving volleyball a new height.
In recent times, franchise leagues are happening one after the other in Nepali sports. When a world-class star player in cricket entered Nepal, the interest increased everywhere. Kedia Group is trying to give excitement to the volleyball league keeping in mind the Nepali sports fans. As it is going to be the first time, the organizers are aiming to give a good start.
NVL's logo has already been made public. Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary unveiled the logo and slogan. It has been decided that 6 franchise teams will play in the NVL. Kedia Group plans to name each franchise team in areas where volleyball is popular. The final will be between the top two teams of the league, which will be played on the basis of single round robin.
Nepal Volleyball Association has signed an agreement with Kedia Group to host the NVL for seven years. Ashwin Kedia, CEO of Kedia Group, said that other programs will be announced soon along with the date announcement. According to him, announcement of marquee player and affiliation of local players will be finalized soon. He said that he will keep the players who have potential in the talent hunt along with three foreign players in the team.
