Dudhe Veterans Jhapa and Gorakh Veterans Birtamod have reached the semi-finals of the 2nd Phidim Invitational Gold Cup Football being held at Phidim.

Dudhe beat Sky Veterans Dharan 4-2 in a tiebreaker on Thursday. Gorakh beat Redstar Veterans Eelam by 3-0. After Dudhe and Sky played 2-2 goals, the decision was taken by tiebreaker. In the

tiebreaker, Dudhe's Deviprasad Tumbapo, Santosh Nemwang, Sandesh Dewan and Balchandra Jabegu scored while Dharan's Manish Magar and Suresh Rai managed to score. Budvraj Limbu scored 2 goals and Angur Khadgi scored 1 goal in Gorakh's victory. Budvaraj was the player of the match. The semi-finals will be played on Friday.
