Midwest defeated Kathmandu University by 134 runs and Ambedkar defeated Purvanchal University by 178 runs. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Madhya Pashchim scored 192 runs after losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs at the Trivi Maidan in Kirtipur. Rajkumar Shah scored the highest 62 runs after Rabindranjung Shahi was dismissed for 12, Nischal Rawal for 18 and Deepak Prasad Dumre for 4 runs. He played 38 balls and hit 4 fours and a six.
Manish Thapa 12, Subas Bhandari 39 with 2 fours and a six off 21 balls, Dinesh Adhikari 2, Diwas again got out for 10 runs. Bipin Khatri scored 27 unbeaten runs by hitting 1 four and 2 sixes off 13 balls. Supreme Basnet of KU took 3 wickets, Rishabh Khatiwada took 2 wickets, Divash Subedi and captain Ishan Pandey took 1 wicket each.

Amit Kumar Mandal took 3 wickets, Nitesh Yadav, Dhiraj Yadav and Abhishek Mandal took 1 wicket each from Purvanchal.
Purvanchal was bowled out for just 34 runs in 11.4 overs. No one from the team could make a double score. Amit scored 9 runs and Abhay Mandal scored 7 runs. From Ambedkar, Rohan Kumar took 4 wickets, Vishal 3, Hasmi 2 and Adil Alam 1 each.
