The Beas Municipality of the district is going to hold the 4th open Beas Nagar Women's Half Marathon-2081 competition. With the aim of connecting women with sports and promoting the municipality's tourism activities through sports, the municipality is going to hold a competition on the 16th of January on the occasion of Martyrs' Day on the 78th occasion.

Passing through Hatia-Dhangodam, it will end by reaching the historical place of Vyas-11, Tanahunsur Darbar.
41 thousand 81 cash prizes will be awarded to the first prize winners in the 21 km competition, 31 thousand 81 rupees to the second prize winners, 21 thousand 81 rupees to the third prize winners and 11 thousand 81 rupees consolation prizes to 5 persons each, said Jeevan Gurung, coordinator of the Sports Committee and Ward Chairman of Byas Municipality-6. According to him, the municipality has allocated a budget of around 6 lakh rupees for the competition.
