Selection in APF Club Qualifier-1

Nepal APF Club has become the first team to be selected for Qualifier-1 of ANFA Women's Football League. With this, the possibility of playing the APF final has increased. APF won another one-sided victory on Friday. This time the victim of the team, Walling Municipality team.

Rashmikumari Ghising's hat-trick inspired APF to win by a big margin over Walling. Rashmi scored 4 goals. APF easily won the match by 10-0 at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. 

It has been confirmed that the top two will be in the second round of the APF competition. After this win, APF has 18 points. The team is on top. Army is second with 13 points and Police is third with 10 points. 

Now these two teams will compete for the second team to play Qualifier-1. It is certain that APF will be in the top two in the second stage with only two games left for each team. 

With the same results as the last two rounds, the Police will no longer be able to overtake the APF. "We have been selected for Qualifier-1 two games ago, so we are happy. All this has been made possible by the hard work of the team," said coach Jeevesh Pandey. 

He added, 'All the players have played well in the journey so far. The challenge is still before us. Our next goal is to win the new format league.'

Rashmi scored in the 7th, 8th, 54th and 59th minutes. Saru Limbu and Savita Ranamar scored 2 goals each. Saru scored in the 23rd and 27th minutes while Savita scored in the 83rd and 85th minutes. 

Preeti Rai scored the 20th and captain Renuka Nagarkote in the 24th minute. In the second round, APF has won all the 6 matches they have played. This is APF's 14th victory in a row including the first round. 

Walling is at the bottom with no points. The team is yet to get any win in the second round. One team from Bagmati and Walling will play the eliminator.
