KI Singh Rural Municipality has honored national cricketer Sher Bahadur Malla. At the opening ceremony of the sixth municipal level President Running Shield competition, Malla was honored with a cash prize of 1 lakh 31 thousand 250 rupees.

Municipal President Lokendra Bahadur Shahi on Saturday Malla with the said cash amount  Respected  . 

Malla, a permanent resident of KI Singh Rural Municipality, performed well playing for Janakpur Bolds in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Malla said that he has reached this place through hard struggle.  Born in a very poor family, Malla grew up with his parents who went to India for work. That is how he learned cricket. "I made my place at the national level by developing my interest in cricket through strong willpower and hard work," he said. In the

program, district level president running shield competition towards karate  Gaurav Koli, a student of Jhimemalica M.A., who stood first, was also honored with 5,000 cash.
