Jhapa's Chulachuli Club has won the Tinpokhri Cup Invitational Football title. In the final held on Tuesday in Khandbari, Chulachuli defeated the host Tinpokhri Club by 2-1 goals. In the 10th minute, Tirtha Basnet of Chulachuli took the lead by scoring a penalty after a foul by a player from Tinpokhari.
In the 7th minute of the second half, Mixnal Limbu scored a goal from Tinpokhri and tied the game. The goal scored by Nischal Basnet in the 14th minute became decisive for Chulachuli. Abhishesh Kumar Khadka of Tinpokhri Club was declared the best player in the tournament. Muskan Limbu of Chulachuli and Tirtha Basnet of Chulachuli were declared the best goalkeepers.
