Women's T20 international triangular series involving Nepal, Netherlands and Thailand will be held. The triangular series from January 30 to February 7 will be contested in a round robin. According to the organizer Nepal Cricket Association (CAN), the team that collects the most points in the three round robin will be the tournament winner.
All games will be played at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The first match will be played between Nepal and Netherlands on January 30. The next day there will be a competition between Nepal and Thailand. Thailand is 13th, Netherlands 16th and Nepal 20th in the Women's Twenty20 international tournament.
This is the third international series that the Nepali women's team is going to play at home and the second international series that is going to be played in Kirtipur. Nepal played the 13th South Asian Games of 2019 for the first time at its home ground, Pokhara. Similarly, since playing against Uganda in Kirtipur in May 2022, the Nepali women's team is going to play an international competition at home for the first time.
The Nepali women's team will prepare for the triangular series after the completion of the Prime Minister's Cup women's national cricket tournament, which will begin on January 1 in Dhangadhi.
