The Nepali team that will go to play U-19 Women's World Cup cricket has been bid farewell. On Friday, the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) held a farewell program for the Nepalese team. Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary, Vice President of CAN Roshan Singh, Secretary Paras Khadka and others gave Nepali greetings at the event. The Nepalese team will leave for Malaysia on Saturday afternoon.
CAN has already announced the Nepali team for the U-19 Women's World Cup. CAN has announced a 15-member squad under the captaincy of Pooja Mahato on Saturday.

Nepal became the champion in the U-19 Asia Qualifier held last month and made it to the World Cup. The U-19 World Cup is being held in Malaysia from January 5 to 20. 16 teams will participate in the competition.
Nepal is in Group 'D'. The group also includes Bangladesh, Australia and Scotland. Nepal will play the first match against Bangladesh on January 5. Nepal is scheduled to play the second match against Scotland on January 7 and the third match against Australia on January 9.
