Baitadi has won the title of Prime Minister's Cup Women's T-20 Sudurpaschim Provincial Qualifying Cricket Tournament. Baitadi won the title by defeating Kanchanpur by 6 wickets in the final match held on Thursday.

Janaki Thapa's all-round performance in the final match, Baitadi won the title of the tournament. Baitadi achieved the target of 72 runs in 12.2 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. In which captain Ritu Kanaujia scored 22 unbeaten and Janaki Thapa remained not out for 14 runs. 

Kanchanpur, who lost the toss and batted first at Baitadi's Dasarathchand Cricket Ground, Sundarkhali, scored 71 runs in 20 overs. For him, Revati Dhami played an innings of 41 runs, but the other batsmen could not reach double figures. Janaki Thapa took 2 wickets for Baitadi. Janaki was also selected as the Omani of the final. 

Similarly Baitadi captain Ritu Kanaujia became the best player. Kanchanpur's captain Bindu Rawal became the best batsman, Baitadi's Karisma Thapa was the best bowler and Dadeldhura's Jayanthi Bhandari was the emerging player.

Nepal Cricket Association President Chatur Bahadur Chand, Olympian Deepak Bista, Director of Player Preparation under the National Sports Council, Dhirendra Saud, Central Member of Nepal Cricket Association, Ramesh Bohra, Vice President of Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association, etc., distributed prizes to the winners and runners-up.

Organized by Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association and co-organised by Baitadi District Cricket Association, 7 teams from the province participated in the tournament which started on 19th of January. The Prime Minister's Cup Women's National Tournament is being held in Dhangadhi from January 1st.
