South Africa defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in the second Test on Monday and whitewashed the two-Test series. With this win, it is certain that South Africa will remain at the top of the World Test Championship table.

Set a target of 58 runs for victory in Cape Town, South Africa won it without losing any wicket. After South Africa set a high score of 615 runs in the first innings, the basis of victory was decided.

In the follow-on, Pakistan scored 478 runs in their second innings but failed to create pressure on South Africa. In the first innings, Pakistan scored a cheap 194 and were bowled out.

Now South Africa will face Australia in the final of the World Test Championship to be held in June.
