After Lalit Rajvanshi continued his excellent performance in the Nepal Premier League, Nepal Police Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club, which has a strong batting team. After Lalit took 7 wickets, Army lost the toss and came into bat and were bowled out for 121 runs in 34.4 overs.
In response, the police scored 102 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 23.4 overs at the Narayani Cricket Stadium. Police is still 18 runs behind Army's score. Gulsan Jha scored 33 and Prem Tamang remained unbeaten with 1 run. Gulshan's score was the individual high score of the day's match.
Opener Kushal Bhurtel took a top edge catch off Sompal Kami in the first ball of the innings. Another opener, Arjun Saud, was also not allowed by Sahab Alam to open his account. Amit Shrestha 18, Rashid Khan 16, Shankar Rana 13 and Dilip Nath returned to the pavilion scoring 10 runs.

Kushal, Shravan Yadav and Rashid Khan took 1 wicket each. From Army, Kushal Malla scored 25 runs, Bhim Sarki scored 22 runs, Captain Vinod Bhandari scored 21 runs and Pawan Karki scored 15 unbeaten runs.
