A tense match between the police and the army

In the second phase of the ANFA Women's League 2024-2025, the Police and the Army clashed on Sunday with no goals scored and the match ended in a draw. But the match at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato was tense.

Police's Pooja Rana scored a goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but the referee Navindra Maharjan did not recognize it. The police team left the field for 25 minutes in protest.

The referee gave the decision that Pooja hit the goalkeeper Anjana Ranamar. After a long discussion, the police returned to the field, but the attacks of both teams could not be decisive in the game. Although the

game itself was exciting and fast-paced, both teams could not attack accurately. When the game ended, it was almost dark on the field.

After the result of this draw, both teams remained on the same 4 points. Police is at the top position among the five teams based on goal difference, while Army is second.
