Baitadi has entered the finals of the Prime Minister's Cup Women's T-20 Sudurpaschim provincial level selection cricket tournament. Baitadi secured a place in the final by defeating Doti in the second match on Saturday.
Baitadi beat Achham by 10 wickets in the first match and scored a 150-run victory over Doti in the second match and became the winner of Group B and reached the finals, said Vasudev Joshi, president of Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association. Baitadi will now play against the winner of Group A for the title.
According to Joshi, Doti, chasing the target of 187 runs given by Baitadi, was reduced to 36 runs in 11.2 overs. In which Anjali Khadka scored the highest 15 runs, but other batsmen could not score runs in double figures.
Baitadi captain Ritu Kanaujia took 5 wickets, Karisma Thapa took 3 wickets, Nirmala Rawal took 2 wickets.
Baitadi, who won the toss and batted first at the Dasharatchand Cricket Ground, Sundarkhali, scored 186 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. In which Ritu Kanaujia contributed 45 runs, Mamta Bohra 34 runs, Karisma Thapa 21 runs.
