Young Hearts and Eastpole Running Shield winners

Under Gokarneshwar City Level President Running Shield Sports, Young Hatters School has won the karate title for women and Eastpol Mavi has won for men.

On the women's side, Young Hearts became the team champion with 3 golds and one bronze. Saraswati Mavi won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal and Balasudhar Mavi who won 1 gold and 1 silver came third. When the second and third place medals were equal, the selection was made by round robin.

Eastpole became the winner with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze for men. Young Hearts came second with one gold and one bronze and Manakamana Mavi came third with the same 1 gold and bronze.  

95 students from 20 schools within Gokarneshwar municipality participated in the competition in 6 events for men and women.

The winning players were awarded by City Sports Development Committee Chairman Sanjay Lama, Sitorio Karate Kathmandu District Chairman Shivram Karanjit and others.
