Arsenal climbed to the second place in the English Premier League with a 3-1 comeback victory over Brentford on Wednesday. He has overtaken Nottingham Forest. Arsenal now have 39 points from 19 games.

It is six points clear of leaders Liverpool. Brentford took the lead in the 13th minute with Brian Mbemo's goal at home. Then Gabriel Jesus, Michael Merino and Gabriel Martinelli scored for Arsenal.

This is Arsenal's first win since 2025. Brentford is in 12th place with 24 points. Brentford, who played well at the beginning of the season, lost their second game in a row at their home ground, Community Stadium. After the

win, Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta, said, 'Today, they won against a tough opponent. Moreover, it was difficult because it was a comeback win. Liverpool is at the top with 45 points and has played 18 games.
