The title of Yonex Sunrise Nepal Junior International Series 2024 was won by Suryaksh Rawat in men's singles and Parul Chaudhary in women's singles. On the men's single side of the tournament dominated by Indian players, Suryaksh won the title by defeating Ansh Negi 21-17, 21-18.
On the women's side, Chowdhury defeated Medhavi Nagar 21-17, 21-16 to win the title. Saiprasad Tigla and Bishwajit Choudhary won bronze medals in the men's category and Isita Negi and Diya Bhimaiah in the women's category.
In the tournament organized by Nepal Badminton Association, only Indian players competed in the semi-finals of all five categories. Nepali players could not rise above the quarterfinals. Among the Nepali players, the duo of Tisarani Shakya and Swarlin Shrestha and Suvin Shrestha and Dilasha Rana reached the last eight in women's doubles U-19.
Anya Bishta and Angel Punera won the women's doubles title. The pair defeated Diya Bhimaiah and Baruni Parswal 21-14, 21-18. The pair of Isita Negi and Vansika Thakur and Zenith Abbigil and Tarini Suri came third.
Bhavya Chhawra and Param Chaudhary won the men's doubles title. The pair of Chawra and Chaudhary defeated the pair of Divyansh Aggarwal and Neeraj Keshari by 21-17, 21-15. The pair of Davyansh Rawat and Yogansh Singh and C Lalram and Saurabh Sahu were in the third position. In the
mixed doubles, Bhavya Chawra and Angel Punera defeated the pair of Garbha Sani and Isita Negi 21-13, 21-14 to win the title.
Saurabh Sahu and Pragati Parida and Bizon Jaison and Anya Bisht were in the third position. Among the 99 players participating in the tournament, 60 were from India, 16 from Nepal, 10 from Thailand, 4 from UAE, 3 from Iran, 2 from New Zealand and 1 each from Malaysia, Australia, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
