Sindhuli and Lalitpur entered the semi-finals

Sindhuli and Lalitpur have entered the semi-finals by winning the game held on Monday under the ongoing Wagmati State Level League Football Tournament-2081 in Hetaunda.

Sindhuli district's league champion Blue Alpine Club defeated Chautara Sporting of Sindhupalchok by 2-1 and Lalitpure team secured their place in the last four after defeating Dhunibeshi Youth Society of Dhading by 3-1.

In the group stage match at Pipley-Kampa Stadium located in Hetaunda-5, Sindhuli, who won the second win from Group B, scored 6 points. On behalf of Sindhuli, Pravin Mahatara took the lead in the 16th minute. In the 30th minute of the game, Innocent Thing increased the lead by scoring a free kick. Sindhupalchok captain Bhim Bahadur Gurung scored a penalty but could not prevent the team's defeat. Suvit Gurung single-handedly scored 2 goals to make Lalitpur Football Club win in the league stage of the second edition of the

competition. He scored 2 goals in the 20th minute and 78th minute of the game. Lalitpur's Amrit Chand widened the team's lead by scoring one more goal. Surya Bahadur Gurung of Dhading managed to score only one goal. Man of the match 2 scorer Suwit has been declared .

The league winning teams of 11 districts are participating in the competition conducted in the leaguecom knockout system.  In the semi-finals of the tournament on Wednesday, Sindhuli will compete against Tiger Team Tikhatal of Dolakha and Chitlang Football Club and Lalitpur Football Club of Kathmandu.
