South Africa beat Pakistan in the final of the Test Championship

South Africa scored a sensational two-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first Test on Sunday. With this victory, South Africa has also reached the final of the World Test Championship.

Chasing 148 runs for victory on the fourth day of the Test at Centurion, South Africa scored 150 runs for 8 wickets. Marco Jensen and Kagiso Rabada of the home team made a decisive partnership of 51 runs.

Jensen scored 16 runs while Rabada added 31 runs. Before their brave performance, Pakistan bowled lethally and South Africa were in a position of 99 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. From there, Jenson and Rabada led South Africa to victory.

Mohammad Abbas took 6 wickets for 64 runs for Pakistan. Due to his performance, Pakistan was on the verge of victory, but could not grasp it. Pakistan scored 211 and 237 runs in their two innings.

South Africa scored 311 runs in their first innings.
