Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary has warned that action will be taken against the sports associations that participated in the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) elections. Minister Chaudhary has announced that action will be taken against those who do not follow the instructions of the ministry.

In a program organized by the Central Steering Committee of the Congress of Nepal Democratic Sports Association, which is close to the Congress, Minister Choudhary warned that those who do not obey the law will be punished. Minister Choudhary became angry saying that the Sports Association as well as the National Sports Council tried to proceed without following the directives of the Ministry. 

Chowdhury also said that after the court order came, even though he sent a letter to Nepal Olympic Committee to postpone the election, the committee ignored it. Minister Choudhary informed that even though correspondence was sent to the sports associations not to participate in the Olympic Committee election, an explanation was sent saying that they did not agree.

'We don't know what kind of people have been sent to sports within the Congress, what kind of people will become members of the General Committee, congress representatives, we didn't know . I didn't know who comes from which leader's pocket, what comes from which leader's pocket,' said Minister Choudhary, 'Now the matter of the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court is being widely discussed . Bigger than the Ministry is the National Sports Council, in rights and duties, even bigger now are the Sports Associations . We have been discussing the issue of the Olympic Committee with the Ministry of Sports and the Sports Department for a week, but we have not been able to get the expected results. Because we are the Ministry of Sports to give letters, circulars, instructions . We will give it to the Sports Council. We have sent the letters received from the Supreme Court and the Council of Appeals.'

Minister Chaudhary has warned that 27 associations participating in the election of the Nepal Olympic Committee will be prosecuted. He also said that the action process has already started. We have sent many letters that you should not participate in this, even your account may be blocked, many actions may be taken. But they did not listen. After not hearing that, we have sent an explanation . Perhaps in a few days there will be an explanation answer . Within a few days, action will be taken against the sports association,' Minister Choudhary said, 'I am trying to take action against the sports association . No matter what happens. People who do not follow the rules of Nepal, do not follow the laws of Nepal, and do not follow the sports law are not suitable to be in the sports association. Therefore, I would like to request, I request that such a person not be given a place at every step of the Congress . If you give space to such a person, Nepali sports will not be able to move forward.
