Female runner Nikki Nemwang (Indrakala) has been honored in home district Panchthar. District Athletics Association Panchthar has honored him along with 53-year-old runner Indramaya Jabegu by holding a program at the headquarters Fidim.

Nemwang, who was born in Phaktep, Falgunand village of the district, is an excellent athlete in running, cycling, climbing and boating. She had previously become a gold medalist in the ninth national sports competition. 

Apart from this, she has won more than a dozen titles in national and international level competitions including South Asian, Asian. Indramaya is a citizen of Fidim-1. 

Jabegu is a player who is constantly participating in provincial level competitions. They were honored by officials including District President Purnahang Tumbapo with Dosalla and a letter of appreciation in a program organized by the Athletics Association Panchthar.

Speaking after receiving the award, Nikki informed that she will participate in the 10th national sports competition from Koshi province.
