The teams of Chitwan and Makwanpur have won the match held on Friday under the Wagmati State Level League Football Tournament-2081 in Hetaunda.
Chitwan's Bharatpur won by defeating Kavre's Mount Everest by 2-1 in the first match at Pipley-Kampa stadium located in Hetaunda-5. Makwanpur's Padampokhari Youth Club won by defeating Dhunibensi Youth Society of Dhading by 2-1.
On behalf of Bharatpur, Anjan Chaudhary scored the first goal in the 5th minute of the first half. Sandeep KC scored a goal in the 66th minute of the second half of the game and gave the team victory. At the end of the game, the special Lama of Mount Everest scored a consolation goal for the team. The consolation scorer of the match was named Lama of Mount Everest.
Pritam Syangbo took the lead in the victory of Padampokhari by scoring in the 38th minute of the first half. In the 38th minute of the game, the team captain of Dhunibensi scored a goal and brought the game to a one-goal tie. Mahesh Waiba scored a goal in the 44th minute of the second half. Padampokhari has added 3 points while Dhunibensi has no points. From this group, Kavre has been eliminated from the competition. Kavre, who did not win in 2 matches of the group stage, is out of the competition with zero points.
11 district clubs are participating in the competition conducted in Leaguecom knockout system. The final match of the competition will be held on 20th of January. In the competition conducted with the support of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Provincial Sports Development Council and Hetounda Sub-Metropolitan City are supporting . The winning team of the
competition will receive a shield, medal and certificate with 2 lakh rupees, while the runner-up team will receive a shield, medal and certificate with 1 lakh rupees. Prizes have also been arranged for the best players in the category.
