Kathmandu Xavier's Public and Hames won the title of the 13th Pabson Central Regional Basketball Tournament. While winning the double title, Kathmandu Xaviers got success in junior boys and senior girls. Hames became the senior boys champion. Junior Kathmandu Xaviers and Senior Hemes became champions for the third time in a row.

Kathmandu Xaviers defeated Marbles by 39-31 in the final of Junior Boys at Liverpool School on Thursday. Anmol Kusuwar of the winner added 30 scores. Sunshine finished third. In the girls' final, Kathmandu Xaviers defeated the 11th and 12th edition champion Innovative by a score of 25-16. Diprenza Bohra of Xaviers scored 17. Asian Public was third.

Sushant Acharya scored 18 points as Hames defeated Sunshine 54-40 in the senior boys final of the tournament organized by Pabson Central Regional Committee. Marbles finished third. Sushant Acharya of Hames in Senior Boys, Suhani Baniyan of Kathmandu Xaviers in Girls and Anmol Kusuwar of Kathmandu Xaviers in Junior Boys were declared 'Most Valuable Player'. Sonam Tamang of Sunshine in Senior, Vidya Kumal of Innovative in Girls and Naveen Karki of Marbleous in Junior were the highest scorers.

Awareness International Academy (AIA), Liverpool and Hames won the Fair Play Trophy in their category. The winner was awarded by Prem Kumar Rai, President of Kathmandu District Pabson.
