President of Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) Jeevanram Shrestha inaugurated the Earthquake Commemorative Covered Hall built in Dallu Housing Area of ​​Kathmandu Municipality Ward No. 15 on Thursday during a ceremony. The program was jointly organized by NOC and Dallu Housing Local Support Committee.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) provided financial support for the construction of this covered hall. A total of 45 million rupees has been spent for its construction. The foundation stone of the covered hall was laid in October 2079. Volleyball, badminton, table tennis and other indoor games can be organized in it. On the occasion of the

inauguration, President Shrestha said that the construction of the covered hall will contribute significantly to the development of local sports and said that it will also help in the production of local players. Shrestha said, "This is a great achievement for Nepali sports. Due to the covered hall, it will help in the development of sports in this area. Help for the production of players will come only when the game is available at the venue.'
