The last match of the quarter-final stage will be held today in the eleventh Falgunanda Gold Cup in Phidim of Panchthar.

According to the organizer Fidim Sporting Club, the competition will be between New Road Team Ilam (NRT) and Sahel Football Club Siraha.

Earlier, Church Boys Club Kathmandu, Machchindra Football Club Kathmandu, and Fidim Sporting Club defeated their competitors and reached the semi-finals.

The winner of today's competition will also reach the semi-finals. Dipendra Thapa Magar, president of the organizer Fidim Sporting Club, informed that the semi-final stage matches will start from Friday.

10 teams from Nepal and India participated in the competition which started on 6th of January. Out of which, Tribhuvan Army Club, Karsang Football Club, Biratnagar City Football Club, Morang and Jhapa-11 have left the game. The final of

competition will be held on 15th of January. In this year's Falgunanda Gold Cup, the winner will get Rs 10 lakh 555 and the runner-up will get Rs 5 lakh 555.

In memory of Nepal's 16th Vibhuti Phalgunanda Lingden, the Phalgunanda Gold Cup, which started in 2065, was suspended until 2075.  After the tenth edition of

was completed, it was postponed due to the collapse of the playground wall and the corona epidemic. The competition has been continued as the eleventh edition this year.
