Karan won the Colma Cross Country

Army runner Karan Rawal has won the Colma cross country race title. On Monday, Karan became the champion of the fifth edition of the cross-country race held at Putlibazar Municipality-9 Colma in one hour, 27 minutes and 52 seconds. He won Rs 50,000.

 

Army's Tank Bahadur Karki was second and Ramesh Limbu was third. Tank completed the 25 km distance in 1 hour 32 minutes 9 seconds and Ramesh in 1 hour 32 minutes 59 seconds. Tank got 40 thousand and Ramesh got 30 thousand.

Durgaraj Budha of Rukum finished fourth in 1 hour 38 minutes 13 seconds. The race started from Colma Barahchaur and passed through Satidanda, Kaule, Thumki Danda, Jimire Mandir and ended at Barahchaur, said Jeevan Pokharel, the general secretary of the organizer Satsay Kolma Bahkot Sampark Mancha. Sanam Gurung became the winner in the under-21 men's 10 km category. He completed the race in 46 minutes and 35 seconds. Padma Bahadur Manandhar was second and Rudra Budhathoki was third. They clocked 49 minutes 35 seconds and 50 minutes 14 seconds respectively. The winner got 15,000, the second 10,000 and the third 5,000.

Raveena Budhamgar won the women's open 10 km with a time of 1 hour 12 minutes 26 seconds. Vimala Manandhar finished second in 1 hour 15 minutes 28 seconds. Raveena won 15,000 and Vimala won 10,000.
