Defending champions Gateway Academy have defended their title in the 17th FECA Cup inter-school football tournament. Gateway defeated Brahmakunj by 2-1 in the final at Moolpani ground. Highly Creative came in third. Highly Creative easily beat Oriental 5-1.

The top four teams won cash prizes of 30,000, 20,000, 10,000 and 5,000 respectively. Oriental's Manoj Ram was adjudged the best player in the competition organized by FECA. Alex Kunwar of Brahmakunj in defense, Sandeep Rai of Brahmakunj in goalkeeper, Prateek Rayamazhi of Gateway in midfield and Sujan Napit of Gateway were selected as the best in coaching. 

Oriental's Roshan Pakwal became the emerging player while Gateway's Pradeep Khatri topped the list of top scorers with 6 goals throughout the tournament. Kaustubh Academy won the disciplined team title.

The winner was awarded by Upendra Karki, Mayor of Kageshwari Manohara Municipality, Sriram Dahal, President of Feka and others. 25 teams competed on knockout basis in the tournament which started from 28th of November.
