Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated Janakpur Bolts for winning the title of the first edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Prime Minister Oli, who arrived in Itahari to inaugurate the 51st National Convention of Nepal Jaycees, said that he was not able to watch the final match and said that his focus was on that.

Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairman of CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal went to the Trivi Cricket ground to watch the final match but Prime Minister Oli had to come to Itahari to inaugurate the convention of Jaycees and said that his focus was on the final between Sudurpaschim Royals and Janakpur Bolts. He congratulated after hearing the sound of Janakpur winning from the audience. Prime Minister Oli has suggested that Sudurpaschim, which is limited to the runner-up, wait. 

Oli congratulated Janakpur and consoled Sudurpaschim by saying 'wait for next match'.
