Bridges Aryal and Sivali Gurung have become the winners of the U-14 '22nd Jayakar Memorial National Junior Tennis Tournament 2024'.
On Saturday, Bridges and Sivali were the winners of the U-14 team at the tennis court of the Nepal Tennis Association, Satdobato.
In the match organized by Jayakar Tennis Academy, Bijres defeated Asav Samrat Hada in a set of 6-3 and 6-1 . Similarly, Sivali defeated Annabela Malla by 6-0 in straight sets .
The competition was held from December 2 to 6. Amyra Gupta and Kayan Chalise became the winners in U-8. Similarly, Naira Choden Ghale of U-9 and U-10 became the winner. Sahansha Basnet won the U-9 category and Veeral Agarwal won the U-10 category. U-12's Ayusha GC and in the same category World special Dallakoti won the title . Kailash Sirohia, president of Kantipur Media Group, distributed medals and certificates to the
winners. On that occasion, President Sirohia wished the players participating in the competition a bright future and motivation to move forward in the game.
"I am very happy to see the young players here," he said, "I see a bright future for all the players." So now we have to aim for a gold medal in national and international games.'
Similarly, in the game, seven-year-old Benafsa Maharjan was declared the "Youngest Player-Girl" and three-year-old Janis Samrat Khadka was declared the "Youngest Player-Boy".
