Kazumi Nakamura, who played twice in the Olympics for the Japanese national women's volleyball team, discussed the possibility of volleyball development in Nepal. She represented Japan in the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She came to Nepal to participate in the program organized by NPO Riyale World.
In the discussion organized during that time, she got information about the situation of Nepali volleyball. She said that she is happy to see the popularity of volleyball in Nepal. She said that in the meeting with the Nepali volleyball players, the emphasis should be on discipline as well as preparation for the competition.
During her four-day visit to Nepal, she also participated in workshops held at New Diamond Sports Club, Jawalakhel Volleyball Training Center and APF Club.
