New Horizon Mavi Butwal won the title of the 11th edition of the 'Swargiya Sher Bahadur Century Memorial T-20 Inter-School Cricket Tournament'.
Horizon became the winner after defeating Debdah Buddha Mavi by 5 wickets in the final match at Siddharth Cricket Ground in Bhairawa. New Horizon achieved the target of 71 runs for victory in the game by scoring 76 runs in 19 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. In which, Sameerjung Singh Thakuri contributed 20 unbeaten and Anish Bhattarai contributed 19 runs. In
bowling, Devdah Buddha's Krish KC took 2 wickets and Rohan Kuwar and Ayush Vick took 1 wicket each.
After losing the toss and being invited to bat, Devdah Buddha lost all the wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and made a modest total of 70 runs. New Horizon's Niraj Ghimire and Rahul Now took 3-3 and Anish Bhattarai, Supreme Kadel and Prince Pal took 1-1 wickets to stop him cheaply. Devdah Buddha's Diksan Thapa contributed 16 runs, Ayush Pandey 15 and Adhyaya Neupane contributed 11 runs. Horizon's Niraj Ghimire was declared Man of the Final. In the
competition, Prince Paul of New Horizon became the Man of the Series and received 10,000 rupees. Similarly, Horizon's Rahul Now became the best batter and Supreme Kadel became the best bowler. They got 5 thousand rupees each. Kunwarwarti English Boarding School was declared the best disciplined team in the competition.
The winning team of the competition organized by the Rupandehi Cricket Association received a cash prize of 50,000 and the runner-up team received a prize of 25,000 rupees.
