The host Matrubhumi and Gyan Niketan have won the title of Matrubhumi inter-school basketball tournament. Matrubhoomi, who won the double title, became champions in junior boys and senior girls. Gyan Niketan became the champion in senior boys.
Matrubhoomi defeated Gyan Niketan by a score of 48-37 in the junior boys final on the home court. In the girls' final, Mathrubhoomi defeated Innovative lost
20-18. In the senior boys' final, Gyan Niketan defeated Buddhist International 56-48.
Ashalal Shrestha of Gyan Niketan in Senior, Adhyeta Sharma of Matrubhumi in Girls and Saksham Maharjan of Matrubhumi in Junior Boys were declared Most Valuable Player. Arohan Budha of Buddh in Senior Boys, Varsha Karki of Matrubhumi in Senior Girls and Dipsan Adhikari of Junior Gyan Niketan became the highest scorers of the tournament.
Sawar Mansoor of Gyan in boys, Sudeshna Nepal of Nist in girls and famous Jang Karki of Matrubhumi were selected as the best three pointers in juniors.
