Defending champions Inter Milan scored an impressive 6-0 victory over Lazio in Italy's Serie A on Monday. This is the biggest league defeat ever by a Rome club at home.

Before the start of the game, both were on the same score. But once the game started, Lazio couldn't keep up with Inter's attack. Inter now has 34 points from 15 games. Lazio was limited to 31 points and remained in fifth place.

Hakan Cahalanunu scored the first goal for Simon Inzaghi's Inter from the penalty spot in the 41st minute and then the rain of goals started. Federico DiMarco, Nicolo Barella, Denzel Dumfries, Carlos Agusto and Makers Thuram were among the other scorers.

With this result, Lazio's 12-match unbeaten streak at home has ended. Lazio had previously lost 5-0 against Fiorentina at home in 1959.

Monday's match between Bournemouth and West Ham in the English Premier League ended in a 1-1 draw. West Ham took the lead in the 87th minute with the help of Lucas Paqueta's penalty goal. Bournemouth equalized in the 90th minute and it went to Ines Unal.
