Freedom Fighter Club won a double victory in the Fourth Ward President's Cup Veteran Football Tournament on Monday. Freedom's 'A' and 'B' teams have both won.

Freedom's 'A' defeated Waiwai United 10-1 in the tournament organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward 7. Rajkumar Ghising scored 4 goals, man of the match Suraj Shrestha and Vijay Gurung scored 2 each and Vikarn Shrestha scored 1 goal for the winners. One goal was suicide. United's Sundar Limbu scored a goal.

Freedom 'B' defeated Saraswatinagar by 3-0 goals. Nilendra Dewan, man of the match Raju Tamang and Tikajit Limbu of the winner scored 1-1 goals.

Kapan Vetran and Buddh Vetran also won. Kapan beat Budhanilkanth 2-0. Both goals were scored by man of the match Pasang Sherpa. Buddh defeated Dillibazar 2-1. Man of the match Amir Lama and Prakash Shrestha scored 1-1 goals. Babu Baral of Dillibazar returned 1 goal. Bimal Kumar Hoda, chairman of the host ward of the

competition, and Sanukaji Shakya, former chairman of the same ward, jointly inaugurated it. 21 teams including 3 from Mofusal are participating in the competition. The winner will receive a prize of Rs 1 lakh and the runner-up will receive a prize of Rs 50,000.
