Nepal Premier League (NPL) is the talk of the town in many ways. Not to mention the excitement of the audience, the arrival of foreign players has also increased the attraction of the NPL. In every game, not only the enthusiasm of the audience has increased, but also the curiosity of what will happen next has increased.

Brian Lara is currently in Kathmandu for the NPL. Lara from West Indies is considered to be one of the greatest players that world cricket has ever had. Lara from Trinidad and Tobago created a sensation with his batting when he was a player.

Lara is not the only cricket celebrity who has come to Nepal. Earlier, Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar, who won the World Cup for India in 1983, also came to Nepal. Sachin Tendulkar, who is a contemporary player of Lara, also came to Nepal. If the Nepali cricket atmosphere continues to spread like this, the number of such big stars coming to Nepal will increase.

It may seem like the first edition of the NPL has already started, but it is towards the final stage. The final will be held next Saturday. In this way, the most exciting game of the tournament is sure to be seen. In the beginning, it will be a fierce competition to see who will reach the play-offs. Then there will be finals through qualifiers and eliminators. Before the start of the

tournament, there was a certain assumption, even fear, that foreign players would not dominate the NPL. It was not supposed that foreign players would dominate Nepali players, but this did not happen. The performance of Nepali players has been good, so far. Bowling, batting, fielding, Nepalese players are seen in the front in every field.

That's why Ravi Bopara from England, who is playing for Chitwan Rhinos, rightly said, '...Nepali players are multi-talented. They have an opportunity to learn a lot from NPL. You just have to be patient. You have to be able to stay on the wicket and play. This tournament has become a great learning opportunity for Nepali players.

Shikhar Dhawan, who won ICC Champions Trophy, ACC Asia Cup and IPL titles for India, came to Nepal and played. He has returned. This is the first time that any such star player from India has come to Nepal and played in the league. Karnali played four matches for the Yaks and scored 136 runs with a half-century.

Many coincidences and news coming from the ground every day, NPL is not only showing the future of Nepali cricket, it also clearly shows how crazy the Nepali audience is in cricket.
