The organizers JB School and Paramount have achieved success in the Junior Boys of the 1st JB Cup Inter-School Basketball Tournament.
JB defeated Newton with a score of 24-18 on the home court. Bhuvan Chaulagai of JB scored 4. Paramount defeated Nams 44-12 on Sudeep Ghale's 13 scores. In the junior boys, Himarshmi defeated Odissi by 31-16. Himarshmika's Ayush Pokharel scored 8.
Laliguras National Academy, Angels Heart and Newton got success in senior girls. Laligurans edged JB 26-18, Angels Hart edged Skibbs 17-15 and Newton edged Bashundhara National Academy (BNA) 26-21. Simran Maharjan of Laliguras scored 7, Supriya Pun of Angels scored 10 and Irena Rana of Newton scored 8. In the
competition, 12-12 teams are participating in junior boys and senior girls. The final of the leaguecom knockout tournament will be held on December 2.
