Amisha Karki and Geeta Rana of the National Women's Football Team were honored with cash on Thursday. Both of them were awarded Rs 75,000 each in a program organized by the Nepal Football Players Association. They were honored by Sejal IT in California, USA.
Amisha and Geeta performed impressively for Nepal in the Women's SAFF Championship 2024 at the Dasharath Stadium last month. In the final, Nepal lost to Bangladesh 2-1. Amisha scored the only goal scored by Nepal. On the occasion of the
award ceremony, Sejal IT President Shankar KC said that he was impressed by the performance of Amisha and Geeta. He also promised to try for the participation of Nepali players in the women's football tournament in America.
