APF's Prince Dahal and Army's Rasila Maharjan won the third Lalitpur Mayor's Cup National Badminton Tournament title on Saturday. Both have won a hat-trick in the title.

In the men's singles final, Prince won the title by defeating Army's Praful Maharjan 21-8, 21-9. APF's Devraj Rana and Kshitij Khanal came third. 

Top seed Rasila Maharjan defended her title in the women's singles final. She beat Amita Giri of her own club 21-7, 21-11. Rasila's third consecutive title in the Lalitpur Mayor's Cup. Army's Rihanna Sherchan and Sheshna Sripali came third.

APF's Kavir KC became the champion in men's U-17 age group. He defeated Army's Suvin Shrestha 21-9, 21-13. Badminton Training Center's Aman Dangol and Kailali's Shishir Rana came joint third. Army's Rihanna Sherchan became the women's champion. She beat Swarlin Shrestha of APF 21-17, 21-12. APF's Priyansha Shrestha and Tisharani Shakya came third. 

Men's (excluding top 20 ranking) doubles pair of Army law officer and Pawan Lingthep emerged champions. They defeated the duo of Sashin Dangol and Suman Shakya of Balkumari Remix Club 21-14, 21-14 to win for the third time in a row. 

Army's Laxman Rana Magar and Supreme Pant and Balkumari Remix's Diprismuni Vajracharya and Raman Maharjan came joint third. Masters Over 45 doubles co-hosts Shanta Dangol and Krishna Shrestha from Balkumari Remix Club won the title by defeating San Bahadur Sawa and Lakpa Sherpa from Sports Hub by 10-21, 23-21, 21-16. 

The winners of both men's and women's singles and doubles events received Rs 40,000, runners-up Rs 20,000 and third runners-up Rs 10,000. The U-17 winner got 20,000, runner-up 10,000 and third runner-up 5,000. The winning pair of master duet received Rs 30,000, the runner-up received Rs 15,000 and the third-placed pair received Rs 7,500.
