Chitwan will bat first against Sudurpaschim Royals in Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket on Sunday. Chitwan won the toss and decided to bat first at the Trivi Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Sudurpaschim is second in the points table of NPL after winning all three matches. Chitwan has won 3 matches. The team was defeated by 6 wickets against Karnali Yaks in the last match. Chitwan have replaced veteran Sharad Bheshavkar with Ranjeet Kumar and Luke Benkestein in place of Hassan Isaakhil in the playing XI.

Sudurpaschim Royals have replaced Vasant Khatri with Dilpreet Singh. After Rohan Mustafa returned to UAE, Sudurpaschim played the previous match with three foreign players . In the NPL, there is a provision that a team can play four foreign players in the playing 11 .
