The Wheelchair Sports Association (WSA) won the women's wheelchair basketball tournament held on Saturday.
On the occasion of the 33rd International Disability Day, WSA defeated Jawalakhel Wheelchair Sports Club by a score of 20-12 in a match organized by the Nepal Spinal Cord Injury Sports Association and the National Disability Federation of Nepal at the court of Global College. Jyoti Aryal of
winner became the best player and Rajni Rai of Jawalakhel became the highest scorer. Both won the trophy. Winners and runners-up were awarded with trophies. Four teams including BIA, WSA, Jawalakhel and SCINN participated in the competition. Bhimsingh Gurung, president of Nepal Basketball Association, presented the trophy to the winning players.
