Laligurans National Academy has become the team champion by winning 19 gold medals in athletics under the 3rd mayor running shield sports.
Laligurans won 5 golds on the first day, 7 on the second day and 7 on the last day. The team also won 4 more silver and 1 bronze.
In the competition organized by Tarkeshwar Municipality, Himarshmi High School came second with 5 gold, 10 silver and 5 bronze. Kaushal, who came third, got 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze.
In athletics, in which 14 different schools participated, Srijan Gyansagar won the remaining 1 gold. Gyansagar also added 1 silver and 3 bronze. There was competition for 26 gold medals.
Himarshmi and Landmark in the finals
Himarshmi and Landmark Academy reached the finals of the 3rd Mayer Running Shield sports girls' basketball.
In the semi-final, Himarashmi defeated Laligurans with a score of 19-13 in the same court. Himashmika Prashant Tamang scored 6. Landmark beat Mansingh 18-15 with Sajan Khatri's 7 scores. Laliguras and Angel's Heart will compete for the title in
junior students. Laligurans beat Jeevanjyoti by a score of 28-15. Sargam Gurung of Laliguras scored 10. Saurabh Shrestha added 8 points as Angels Heart defeated Himarshmi 21-16.
