Karnali Yaks defeated Biratnagar by 7 runs in the low scoring match of Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket on Saturday. Chasing a target of 134 runs, Biratnagar lost 8 wickets and scored only 126 runs.

Biratnagar needed 15 runs to win in the last over. But Nandan Yadav won by giving only 7 runs to Karnali. Nandan spent 19 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets. Devrehate spinner Bipin Sharma spent 20 runs in 4 overs and captain Sompal Kami, William Bosisto and Younis Thakuri took 1 wicket each.

tournament, scored an unbeaten half-century against Kathmandu Gurkhas and was dismissed by foreign players in the other two matches. After Sol dismissed Chadwick Walton, another foreign player of Karnali for 1 run, Bosisto and Dev Khanal improved Karnali's position by sharing 102 runs in 79 balls for the third wicket.
