The Confederation of National Sports Association has demanded to pass the guidelines for the tenth national sports after discussion and suggestions with the relevant associations.
The confederation, made up of sports associations affiliated to NOC, held a press conference on Friday and demanded to arrange a high-level mechanism to make the 10th National Games free from financial embezzlement and corruption. It is insisted that the involvement of the sports associations included in the tenth national competition should be involved when the mechanism is made considering the past competitions.
The confederation also submitted a memorandum to the Minister of Youth and Sports on 13 November regarding the amendment of the National Sports Development Act, 2077, the date of the 10th National Games and the appointment of officers and members in the National Sports Council. In a
press conference, the president of the confederation, Prakash Shamsher Rana, said that the organization's demand is that members should be appointed on the institutional recommendation of the associations and not on the basis of personal access to the member positions representing the national sports associations in the council. He said that the quality of the clothes and sports materials provided to the players in the 10th National Games should be tested and the food and housing of the players should be properly arranged.
From the geographical and technical point of view, the height of Karnali province is different from the topography and environment of other provinces, so the conference demands that players from such provinces should be brought to the stadium at least 3-4 days in advance.
