Pokhara Avengers, who are looking for their first win, have given a target of 139 runs to Janakpur Bolts in Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket on Thursday. After losing the toss and being invited to bat, Pokhara played the scheduled 20 overs and scored 138 runs by losing 7 wickets.

Matt Critchley scored the highest 35 runs at the Trivi Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. He played 30 balls and hit 3 fours and 1 six. Michael Lisk scored 25 runs with 3 sixes from 13 balls. He was dismissed by Kishore Mahato in the last over. Kishore gave only 3 runs in the last over.

Openers Dinesh Kharel scored 10 runs and Andrew Gaus scored 20 runs. Gauss played 16 balls and hit 3 fours and 1 six. Captain Kushal Bhurtel disappointed again. He was stumped by Lalit Rajvanshi. Dilip Nath was out for 11 runs and Ramon Reefer was out for 17 runs. Lalit took 3 wickets with 31 runs in 4 overs and Jimmy Neesham took 2 wickets with 29 runs in 4 overs.

Pokhara was defeated by 87 runs against Chitwan Rhinos in the first match. Janakpur is at the top of the points table after winning the first two matches.
