The Matrubhumi inter-school basketball tournament will be held from Monday under the organization of Matrubhumi School.
In the press conference held on Thursday, the coordinator of Matrubhumi Jairam Adhikari informed that 27 teams will participate in the competition in three categories. There will be 7-7 teams in senior boys and girls and 11 teams in junior boys.
The senior team will be divided into two groups and played on a league-com knockout basis. The top two teams of the group will enter the semi-finals. Junior Boys will be divided into 4 groups and will be played in Leaguecom Knockout. The top two teams in the group will advance to the quarterfinals.
The organizer said that the competition was organized with the aim of revealing the talent of young players.
