Nepal Professional Boxing Commission and Silk Transport honored the Nepalese athletes who participated in Gen-G South Asian Boxing Championship held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The winner of 61 kg weight group Anil Kumar Punamar, 59 kg competitor Puran Rai, 63 kg competitor Mahendra Bahadur Chand along with coach Prem Pauju were honored with cash. Rajan Prajapati, who became the first professional referee/judge after completing the ring official course from the World Boxing Council, was also honored. Prajapati also played the role of referee in the championship.

Silk Transport CEO Ramesh Sherpa said that he has been supporting professional boxing players and sports development in various ways and will continue to cooperate with the Professional Boxing Commission.
