DAV Jawalakhel and NPS Dang won the second day of the 30th Inter-Secondary School IGP Football Running Trophy Tournament-2081.

In the first match on Wednesday, DAV School Javalakhel defeated Nepal Police School Samakhusi by 2-0. Anuj Thapa scored in the 8th minute and Arnab Mann Chhetri scored in the 31st minute for DAV. Anuj Thapa of the winning team was declared Man of the Match.

In the second match, Nepal Police School Dang, which is participating in the competition for the first time, defeated Graceland School Sanga by 3-0. Navin Oli opened the account in the third minute of the game for the winning team in a one-sided game. In the 28th and 57th minutes of the game, Man of the Match Deb Bahadur Oli doubled the lead.

The third and final match between Sainik Residential College, Bhaktapur and Baludhar Mavi Budhanilkanth, the winner of the previous edition, played a goalless draw. In a very exciting game, many opportunities to score goals were created by both teams, but Sainik School, which is considered as a contender for the title, was forced to share 1-1 points. Kismet Rai, a player of Bal Uddhaar Mavi, was declared the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.

Nepal Police School Sanga organized three matches in the IGP Football Running Trophy competition which started on Tuesday. The first match will be Nepal Police School Dharan against Bikateshwar School, in the second match Nightingale School will compete against Mankamana School, and in the next match the host team Nepal Police School (Blue) and Lab School will face each other.  The

league, which is being conducted on a low-knockout basis, will continue until the first week of December. The winners of the competition will be awarded trophies, medals and certificates along with cash prizes. 

First, second and third place teams will get 60,000, 40,000 and 20,000 respectively. Besides, the best players will be given special prizes in individual categories, according to the organizers.
