Preparations for the 25th Adarsh Cup football tournament to be held from December 22 to 29 at Lekhnath Stadium in Pokhara Metropolitan City-29 Bhandardhik under the organization of Adarsh Youth Club have been completed.
At the press conference organized by the club in Pokhara on Wednesday, President Padam Gurung informed that 8 teams including 3 departments will participate in the competition. According to him, the organizer Adarsh Yuva Club, ANFA Tanahun, Kaski 11, ANFA Syangja and ANFA Gorkha will participate in the tournament along with state level teams of Nepal Police, Army and APF. On Saturday, the opening match will be played between the host team and ANFA Tanahun. In the
competition, the title winner will receive 4 lakh 25 thousand 525 and the runner-up will receive 2 lakh 25 thousand 525 rupees. The best player will get Rs 25,000, top scorer, best playmaker, defense, goalkeeper and coach will get Rs 15,000. The man of the match of each match will receive 5 thousand rupees. The main sponsor of the
competition is Shaurya Cement Industries Pvt Ltd. Spectators who buy tickets in the competition will get a SIM card of Ncell network for free. Free entry has been arranged for senior citizens, security personnel and employees in the
competition.
